Summer Family Fun Day @ West Brighton Houses
On August 21st, West Brighton Houses came together for our Summer Family Fun Day, and the turnout was incredible. More than 150 residents—children, teens, adults, and senior citizens—joined us for an afternoon filled with food, fun, games, music, activities, and plenty of smiles. As the renovation work at West Brighton Houses begins to wind down, events like this are especially meaningful. The improvements to the physical environment are important, but the heart of any community is its residents. Seeing generations of West Brighton families enjoying the newly improved spaces together was a great reminder of why this work matters. From the youngest residents enjoying the activities to our seniors sharing a meal and conversation, the day reflected what community engagement is all about: creating opportunities for people to connect, celebrate, and take pride in where they live. A tremendous thank you to everyone who helped make the Summer Family Fun Day a success—and, most importantly, to the residents of West Brighton Houses who came out and made the day special. The renovations may be nearing completion, but the work of building community continues.
