In 1986, three entrepreneurs bought a vacant New York City building for $1 under Mayor Koch's revitalization program. One deal. No grand plan. Just a belief that something could be done. That seed grew into BFC. A company that has created four decades of affordable and mixed-income development transforming New York neighborhoods one block at a time.
