Investment in our community workforce development programs support economic growth and job security. BFC Partners in conjunction with The Center for Frontline Retail, developed and managed a Staten Island based free 20-hour retail training course for low-income Staten Island residents. For two consecutive years, BFC Partners has supported Brooklyn Swims, a free swim instruction program which takes place at Medgar Evers College every summer. The program developed and managed by NYC’s Imagine Swimming provides free swim lessons for children and youth ranging in ages
In 2019, BFC Partners provided mindfulness workshops to children and adult residents of North Shore Towers Apartments. This activity was instructed by our in-house certified mindfulness coach Deanna Morea.
BFC Partners sponsored tournament fees for the Flatbush Youth Associations’ Boys 12 to 14 year old basketball teams. The local Crown Heights team won their division. FYA proudly employs the sport of basketball to mentor hundreds of Brooklyn youth dating back 23 years.
