Zachary Frankel joined BFC Partners in 2013 and is primarily responsible for evaluating new development opportunities. Zachary is engaged in the development process of all of BFC's current projects.
Zachary began his career in real estate development in 2010 at the Miami Downtown Development Authority, an economic development agency of the City of Miami. At the Miami DDA he advised developers and retailers regarding means to promote real estate and economic development in downtown Miami.
After the Miami DDA, Zachary worked as an Analyst for Greenstreet Real Estate Partners, a private equity commercial real estate investment firm based out of Coconut Grove, FL. During his time at Greenstreet he underwrote and conducted due diligence on portfolio acquisitions of commercial assets. In addition, he was responsible for the asset management of a portfolio of approximately 1,600 single-tenant triple net assets.
Zachary left Greenstreet to pursue an advanced degree in Real Estate Development at Columbia University prior to joining BFC Partners. He is also a LEED Green Associate and a member of the Urban Land Institute.
