Alex is responsible for managing and coordinating the acquisition, underwriting, budgeting, entitlement, lending relationships, and building design of active development projects. He is also involved in reviewing and analyzing new potential development transactions.
Prior to joining BFC in July 2016, Alex was a Vice President in Wells Fargo's Multifamily Capital Group. In that role, he analyzed and structured some of the largest, most high profile transactions in New York City, including the Stuyvesant Town Peter Cooper Village acquisition in December 2015. Alex was also responsible for training new analysts, and was awarded the 2014 Golden Spoke Award, which recognizes top performers across the bank. Prior to Wells Fargo, he served as an analyst with Red Hill Realty, a private equity firm in San Diego, CA that specializes in opportunistic multifamily acquisitions. In this role, he was responsible for preliminary underwriting and market research on all new potential acquisitions.
Alex received his Bachelor of Science in Management from the University of Massachusetts at Boston. He is an active member of the Urban Land Institute's Young Leaders Group, the New York Housing Conference's Young Leadership Council, and is currently serving as a mentor to a student at the Bronx High School for Law through the iMentor program.
